5 year Anniversary Weekend

I haven't posted in a LONG time, partly because I was too depressed to talk about externships. It was a rough time. We were living with people we didn't know and had a few awkward moments, plus Kevin was studying for boards so I was really bored.

Luckily, he finished his board right before our Anniversary and we were able to get away to San Francisco. Here are a FEW highlights from that weekend getaway!

 We visit Lombard Street

And a friends suggested we go to the Musee' Me'canique Museum! It was a fun museum with old coin operated machines! This was probably one my favorite things we did in San Fran.

We enjoyed Salt Water Taffy as we walked around the Pier's
And indulged in some awesome icecream at Ghirardelli Square!

At one point the trolley's weren't working (we rode one in the morning so that didn't matter too much to us) making a great opportunity to get a picture next to them!
In the evening we headed to see the Golden Gate Bridge! We hung out around here for three hours waiting for the sunset! We had a great time talking and being together while we waited! I love moments like these with Kevin!

Posing while we wait for the sunset!

I sure love this guy!

Later that night, we went and ate at a really cool crepe place for dinner and then went straight to bed so we could see Alcatraz in the Morning!

We did a Garden Tour at Alcatraz and it was gorgeous! I didn't expect it to be so beautiful. Guards and their families lived on the island and tried to make the island pretty! They did an awesome job!

Prisoners didn't get to enjoy the beauty of the Garden's. This was their recreation area.

Prisoners had a view of San Fran right outside. Sometimes they could hear life going on without them, and could smell the Food. Talk about torture!

After Alcatraz, we went to lunch at a Farmer's Market and drove through Santa Cruz!

We watched people surf and walked along the beach!

We found an old lady to take our picture before we headed back home and she made us kiss. We waited for like 2 minutes for her to take the picture...it was kind of funny and awkward!

We had a great getaway! It was the perfect weekend with the perfect guy!
