WE FINALLY HAVE A PLACE TO LIVE IN PHILADELPHIA!!!
Kevin went to Philly this last weekend to look for housing for us. It has been a tough search because he was told that you want to be as close to the school as possible because of traffic. However, all the housing close to the school is pretty expensive...especially by Rexburg standards! It ranged from about $950 to about $1300!!! The other problem with some of the housing there was trying to figure out which place was the safest to live in and didn't have mice/ cock roach problems! Fortunatly, we found a place that was perfect for us! It's a one bedroom apartment with a den so we could make it into a bedroom if we wanted to. I am going to use it as my studio for teaching voice lessons. The managers sounded very nice, we haven't heard of any problems with mice or cock roach problems. There is a lot of closet space. And the best part is that it is in a safe part of town and is walking distance away from a grocery store, rite aid, post office, etc. It's also only $800 bucks a month! It's the cheapest apartment we found!!!The only thing is that is a little farther away from school. Kevin and I talked about it and he thinks that he could easily ride his bike to and from school every day. If worse comes to worse, we signed a one year lease so we could move to another apartment. I am so happy I have a place to live! It's really settled my nerves!

Love it!! And what a good price, for a great place. Now you can get all your final details in order and not have to worry about "where" you'll be. Plus can we come visit some day??
yay ellen! i am so happy your not going to be homeless!! :)it looks great!
This is so cute! How fun to be living in a new city and experience this together!
looks like a pretty sweet place... and in Philly... that has a much cooler ring to it than when we tell people we moved to Davenport, Iowa. lol.
How far away from the city center are you? And how far away from the college?
Jared and Mimi just moved back to VA. They are in McLean, VA living with her parents until they can find a job and place to live.
We will probably make one trip back there during the next year. We love visiting DC. Maybe we could even come up and visit you guys one night? We haven't ever visited Philadephia and would love to do some of the historic stuff there.
You will have a blast visiting some of the historic places during your time on the east coast. With Robert back there also you will be able to visit lots of fun places! We have been back over a dozen times and we still like to visit as often as we can.
Looks like a GREAT place.
See you in Aug.
Aunt Debbie
That looks SO GREAT!!! Congratulations.
Congrats! The place looks nice. I think it's always a shock to look for housing when you get out of Rexburg. Everything in Rexburg is so cheap!
So fun! So my sister lives in So. Jersey, just a half hour from Philly! We should come visit.
hey thats so awesome. We are in Alabama. That looks like a nice place.
Ellen this place is so cute! When are you guys out here??? I'm living in NYC...might've failed to tell you that...until August 20th now. Maybe I'll be able to come visit now...
xoxo
